Boy married off to dog to ward off tiger attacks

BHUBANESWAR: An infant boy was married off to his neighbours' dog in eastern India by villagers who said it will stop the groom from being killed by wild animals, officials and witnesses said on Wednesday.

Around 150 tribes people performed the ritual recently in a hamlet in the state of Orissa's Jajpur district after the boy, who is under two years old, grew a tooth on his upper gum.

The Munda tribe see such a growth in young children as a bad omen and believe it makes them prone to attacks by tigers and other animals. The tribal God will bless the child and ward off evil spirits after the marriage.

"We performed the marriage because it will overcome any curse that might fall on the child as well on us," the boy's father, Sanarumala Munda, was quoted as saying by a local newspaper.

The groom, Sagula, was carried by his family in procession to the village temple, where a priest solemnised the marriage between Sagula and his bride Jyoti by chanting Sanskrit hymns, a witness said.

The villagers then ate a feast with rich food and alcohol to celebrate.

The dog belongs to the groom's neighbours and was set free to roam around the area after the ceremony. No dowry was exchanged, the witness said, and the boy will still be able to marry a human bride in the future without filing for divorce.

Indian law does not recognize weddings between people and animals, but the ritual survives in rural and tribal areas of the country where millions are illiterate.

India to launch cow urine as soft drink

India's Hindu nationalist movement apparently has the answer: a new soft drink made from cow urine.

The bovine brew is in the final stages of development by the Cow Protection Department of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), India's biggest and oldest Hindu nationalist group, according to the man who makes it.

Om Prakash, the head of the department, said the drink ı called "gau jal", or "cow water" ı in Sanskrit was undergoing laboratory tests and would be launched "very soon, maybe by the end of this year".

quote:
"Don't worry, it won't smell like urine and will be tasty too," he told The Times from his headquarters in Hardwar, one of four holy cities on the River Ganges. "Its USP will be that it's going to be very healthy. It won't be like carbonated drinks and would be devoid of any toxins."

Thousands take a dip in the unholy, filthy, dirty waters of the Ganges

It has long been considered a holy river by Hindus and worshiped as the goddess Ganga in Hinduism.

Tons of chemicals, sewage waste and other filth are dumped into the Ganges daily, spreading disease among the 350 million who live along its shores or avail themselves of its water.

But experts say this Mushrik ritual is leading to untreated sewage being dumped directly into the Ganges along with human and animal carcasses and other pollutants.

Human bodies are often consigned to the river here by relatives when they cannot afford proper cremation.

Scientists say that sewage has overwhelmed the 1,550-mile river, which spills from a Himalayan glacier and meanders through India's plains before flowing into the Bay of Bengal. Scientists have found that portions of the river have a fecal bacteria count nearly 4,000 times the World Health Organization's standard for bathing.

Narora nuclear power plant discharges its waters into the Lower Ganges canal (These Mushriks are going to glow in the dark soon because of the nuclear waste.  Foolish as they are, these Mushriks might think that is something really holy).

Some Hindus also believe life is incomplete without bathing in the Ganga at least once in one's lifetime. Many Hindu families keep a vial of water from the Ganga in their house. This is done because it is prestigious to have water of the Holy Ganga in the house, and also so that if someone is dying, that person will be able to drink its water. Many Hindus believe that the water from the Ganga can cleanse a person's soul of all past sins, and that it can also cure the ill.

1. How can you worship the river and its water which is filled with a fecal bacteria?

2. How can this water full of human faeces purify a person soul?

3. Why would you want to make a dying person drink water full of human faeces?

Many consult astrologers when choosing marriage partners, on when to start new jobs, or even to find out the auspicious time to leave their house in the morning.

And politicians are said to be heavily influenced by the stars too.

Asalamualaikum warahmatuahllahi wabarakaatuh,

I had a question about the mushrikoon. Allah does not forgive shirk and the mushrikoon are destined for the HellFire forever. Does this include people who are ignorant of Islam or the message of Islam has not reached them? Can anyone post statements of the Ulama regarding this issue? As in, are we to believe that such people may be excused or that they are also to be in the HellFire forever unconditionally?

Ceremony marks England's first Hindu state school

The Prophet said, "Every child is born with a true faith of Islaam (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) and his parents convert him to Judaism or Christianity or magianism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?"

[Narrated Abu Huraira: Saheehul-Bukhaaree]

A ceremony to mark the beginning of the construction of England's first Hindu state school has been held in London.

The ceremony called Bhumi Puja involved seeking permission from Mother Earth by priests chanting ancient prayers accompanied by drums and cymbals.

The school, which offers 236 places, will have its own Hindu temple and all meals will be vegetarian, but its lessons will follow the national curriculum.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7441561.stm

------------------------------------------------------------------------

About one third of the 21,000 state schools in England are faith schools, the vast majority Christian. Of the 48 that are non-Christian, 37 are Jewish, seven Muslim and two Sikh.

If you are a Christian child, you have a 33 per cent chance of attending a school of your faith. But if you are Muslim, the chances are 0.75 per cent.

In the Jewish community, by contrast, there is very little demand for more state funding for schools, largely because 63 per cent of Jewish children already attend Jewish schools.

Widow paraded naked in Ranchi

Ranchi, DHNS:

A widow was forced by villagers to walk the street almost naked for praying in a local temple at Pawapur village in Jharkhands Dhanbad district.

The police have identified 36 people guilty in the shameful act, many of them women. ıThe accused are evading arrest. But raids are on to nab them,ı DSP Raj Kumar Lakra said.

After the villagers saw her praying at the Kali temple, they caught hold of Kalawati Devi, smeared her face with soot and then dragged her outside the temple. She was forced to walk in publicıs view wearing almost nothing.
The villagers thought misfortune would come to them if a widow prayed at the local temple, police said. The villagers had apparently warned Kalawati against praying there.

Superstition is rampant in Jharkhand. There are around 500 cases registered under the Witchcraft Act here, and many women face humiliation in this relatively new state.

Hindu gods turn down plans for a Himalayan ski resort

The local elders and villagers called upon their 175 deities (Shaitaan) to decide whether a Himalayan ski resort project was in the interests of local people.

Allaah said the Qurıaan:

"Meaning: They (all those who worship others than Allaah) invoke nothing but female deities besides Him (Allaah), and they invoke nothing but Shaitaan (satan), a persistent rebel!"

(An-Nisa 4:117)

One-year-old boy married off to bitch

Bhubaneswar, PTI:

Driven by superstition, the family of a one-year-old boy married him off to a bitch to keep him free from diseases all his life, in Orissa's tribal-dominated Jagatsinghpur district.

The wedding was organised at Munda Sahi of Jagatsinghpur town, only 30 meters away from the district collectorıs residence.

District Collector Dr P K Meherda told reporters that the incident could be the outcome of the tribal belief.

The infant groom was identified as Sipu, son of Radha Mohan Singh and the six-month-old canine bride was named Moti. The bitch was attired in a yellow saree, while the groom was sitting next to her. A tribal priest performed the rituals in the presence of cheering villagers.

The boyıs father said he decided to marry off his son to a dog in the belief that this would ensure a disease-free life of him.ıThis is not new in tribal society. We do it when the male infant gets his first tooth,ı Singh said adding that he would look after both his son as well as his  daughter-in-law.

Guests were invited for a feast after the wedding.Guests were invited for a feast after the wedding.

A visibly happy groomıs mother Gita Singh told reporters that she would feed her ıbahuı(daughter in law) like a child.

Hindus using internet to commit SHIRK!

The Hindu are using the internet to seek aid in good health, a job, marital bliss and so on, from their million of gods and goddesses.

What kind of a god can't hear the innovaction of its worshippers?

These idols don't hear nor see.

Allaah is the All-Hearer of invocations.

Allaah said in the Qur'aan:

"Meaning: All the praises and thanks be to Allaah, Who has given me in old age Ismaail (Ishmael) and Ishaaque (Isaac). Verily! My Lord is indeed the All-Hearer of invocations."

(Ibrahim 14:39)

"Meaning: And when My slaves ask you (O Muhammad) concerning Me, then (answer them), I am indeed near (to them by My Knowledge). I respond to the invocations of the supplicant when he calls on Me (without any mediator or intercessor). So let them obey Me and believe in Me, so that they may be led aright."

(Al-Baqarah 2:186)

"Meaning: And your Lord said: "Invoke Me, [i.e. believe in My Oneness (Islamic Monotheism)] (and ask Me for anything) I will respond to your (invocation).

Verily! Those who scorn My worship [i.e. do not invoke Me, and do not believe in My Oneness, (Islamic Monotheism)] they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!"

(Ghafir 40:60)

I remember an incident involving my supervisor at work who is a Hindu. Another person just joined our office and both of them were having a discussion. On being inquired about a temple in the nearby area my supervisor remarked, "There is a big temple in Middletown. All the gods are there." He probably meant all kinds of idols are there in all their various shapes, sizes and colors!!!

Our intention in narrating these incidents is not to make fun of the hindus but to make them aware of the foolishness of shirk(polytheism) and idol-worship. May Allaah guide them. Aameen.

Young girl as a goddess

The Himalayan Hindu kingdom of Nepal is where they have deified young girl as a goddess.

The custom of worshipping a girl, who is not a born goddess, as the source of supreme power is an old Hindu-Buddhist tradition that still continues to this day in Nepal.

Choosing the Living goddess

They make the girl sit on the pedestal for worship as the Living goddess. According to the traditions of Vajrayana sect of Mahayana Buddhism, girls in the age-group of 4-7 year, who belong to the Sakya community, and have an appropriate horoscope are screened on the basis of their 32 attributes of perfection, including color of eyes, shape of teeth and even voice quality.

They are then are taken to meet the deities in a dark room, where terrifying tantrik rituals are performed. The real goddess is one who stays calm and collected throughout these trials. Other Hindu-Buddhist rituals that follow finally determine the real Kumari.

Girl Becomes goddess

After the ceremonies, the spirit of the goddess is said to enter her body. She takes on the clothing and jewelry of her predecessor, and is given the title of Kumari Devi, who is worshipped on all religious occasions. She would now live in a place called Kumari Ghar, at Kathmandus Hanumandhoka palace square. It is a beautifully decorated house where the living goddess performs her daily rituals.

Goddess Turns Human

The Kumaris godhood comes to an end with her first menstruation, because it is believed that on reaching puberty the Kumari turns human. However, if she turns out to be unlucky, even a minor cut or bleeding can render her invalid for worship, and the search for the new goddess has to begin.

The Kumari Festival

Every September, on the Indra Jatra festival, the living goddess in all her bejeweled splendor is borne in a palanquin in a religious procession through parts of the Nepalese Capital. It is a carnival attended by people in thousands, who come to see the living goddess and seek her blessings. In keeping with an old tradition, the Kumari also blesses the King of Nepal during this festival.

Brother mentioned, "Shiva says he cannot do that but he gets a head of an elephant and gets the life for Ganesh." Actually when Parvati gets angry and tells Shiva that Ganesh is their son, Shiva can't bring Ganesh back to life since he is the Destroyer. The creator is the Hindu God Brahma. {The Sustainer is another God Vishnu - trinity of Brahma, Vishnu and Mahesh(another name of Shiva)}And thus Shiva expresses his helplessness to re-create Ganesh exactly as he was born!! An elephant is passing by at that moment, so Shiva just chops of the head of the elephant and fixes it on the body of Ganesh. Where are the Animal rights activists?!!! Have the vegetarian hindus read their own scriptures(better word would be mythologies)?!!!

Once while I was travelling in a local public bus in Mumbai(India) a hindu sat besides me and we had a short discussion on religion. He remarked during the course of this discussion, "Ganesha is my favorite god."!!! May Allaah guide these polytheists. Aameen.

The origin of the Hindu god "Ganesh- the idol with an elephant head "

He was created by their goddess Paravthi who is the wife of their god Shiva, one fine day Parvathi wanted to take bath and she creates this Ganesh as her watch man giving him instruction as to not to allow anyone inside. Ganesh is supposed to follow her orders at any given cost. Ganesh agrees to this.

Now their god Shiva comes home and finds this stranger standing at the door, Shiva questions him, asks him to give way to get in but Ganesh do not allow Shiva as he was supposed to follow the order of his mother Parvathi, so Shiva gets angry and chops the head of Ganesh.

Now their goddess Parvathi comes out of the bath and see's that her son is killed and she gets angry and asks Shiva to bring him back his life. But Shiva says he cannot do that but he gets a head of an elephant and gets the life for Ganesh.

So this is the origin of the Hindu god Ganesh.

Questions?

Why does a goddess need bath?

Parvathi only wife of Shiva needs watchman while taking a bath?

Hindus believe that Shiva is creator of world, but he cant give life for which he killed?

Shiva did not know who comes to his house, then how can know whats happening to the Musriks in this world and the Hereafter?

If ganesh was not even able to save his own head, how can he protect these foolish Musriks?

Its amazing that millions of Hindus all over the world believe in these foolish stories and make a religion out of foolish fabricated stories!
