Alhamdulillah there are several brothers who have had the opportunity to move to Qatar recently and I was curious as to whether or not there were any salafis resident here in Qatar.

Akhi, I'm pleased to inform you that there is a pretty strong and thriving community of Salafi Qataris as well as foreigners that have moved there.
There is also a Salafi Book/Tape store there in Qatar. Insha Allah when I see some of the Qatari students at school, I'll relay some more info to you.
Also, as a matter of advice, you might want to edit your post and write your e-mail in this form: abuthaar [at] hotmail [dot] com or something similar, so that spam crawlers don't find your e-mail through a regular google search and then add you to endless lists.
