There have been quite a few updates to the Madinah Blog. After a long time away:

I've posted a four part Series on the visits of Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee, Shaikh Zaid al-Madkhalee and their entourage.

Also, the list of New Students has been updated once again. I added some countries from the Middle East as well as some Far East Countries, at the request of some of my colleagues from those countries. The Euro-Asia list has been updated too. Check it out, and let your friends know, just in case they might know some of the people accepted. I've seen the link on some non-English Forums, so you never know who might benefit from it. Also, a side note regarding the countries of the Former Soviet Union (most of them end in "-stan"), I was advised by University Administration not to publicize their names, as some of those governments persecute any students who come to Saudi Arabia to Study.

The last post I made on SalafiTalk, barely mentioned Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee's Doctorate, here's a detailed account, as best as I recalled from being there...

Anybody who has been hearing about Foreign Investment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, might want to check out the Guide to Saudi Arabia Blog...
Basically, with a Foreign Investor's License, you are your own sponsor, and can live anywhere in the Kingdom as well as travel in and out as you like...

Also, I dunno if any of you suffer from Migraines, but if you do, maybe you might benefit from some of the stuff I've benefitted from regarding Migraines, and maybe you might leave me some beneficial information in the Comments.

And if any of you are Techies, you might be interested in the Muslim Tech Blog...

That's my 2 Cents/Pents/Halalahs, take care people.

P.S.: For those interested, Shaikh Muhammad bin Haadee al-Madkhalee, mentioned to us during the Istiraahah Event that Shaikh Rabee's health is much better. He went back into the Hospital for three days, at the request of his family and our Scholars, and came out in good shape. He was also asked by the Doctors not to speak for some time, according to the Shaikh's family. Anybody planning to go to Makkah might want to honor the Shaikh's Family's requests of letting the Shaikh Rest. The more Shaikh Rabee rests, the more benefit he can bring to our Ummah, May Allah preserve him.

There will be a Dawrah (Islamic Workshop), as might have been announced, in Makkah starting on the Friday, the 13th of Jumaada al-Oulaa, with an opening Lecture by Shaikh Ahmad an-Najmee, at Shaikh Ibn Baaz's Masjid. A Dawrah will also start in Riyadh, on the same day. I believe Shaikh `Ubaid was invited to attend and open for them. He was going to go, but I think his participation was postponed or even cancelled, recently.
