**CORRECTION- WEANING OF CHILDREN"**
Bismillaah,
My wife was told to use aloe vera in order to wean our son, because it has a bitter taste. But I want to know if this method is ok. Does anyone know anything from the Ulamaa regarding this?
NOTE: I do not mean whether "aloe vera" in itself is ok but whether using it to wean is ok.
I need something from the Ulemaah.....

this may not answer your question specifically, but it is a good guideline to follow:
quote:
Therefore Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, rahimahullaah, said: "The basic principle with regard to worship is that all actions are forbidden and with regard to worldly affairs that all actions are permissible, unless there is a text." So remember this snce it is very important and will help you to see the truth in matters about which the people disagree.
