as salaam 'alaykum,
I know its not permissible, to sell something that is not in your hands (agreeing to sell something to a buyer, then taking the buyers money to purchase that product, then making a profit from it).
My question: Is it permissible to show someone a sample (ie. picture of the product) then buy that sample/product with my own money, then sell it to the buyer?
Can anyone get clarification of this matter from the Ahlul 'ilm.
