Maktabah Ishaaq ibn Raahawaih is a new small daw'ah initiative in Cyprus.
I visited Cyprus last autumn, because my mother now lives there. I used some of my time there to find out the conditions of the different peoples by visiting masaajid, talking to people and seeing what the people are upon on matters/points of Tawheed, Aqeedah and Manhaj. I realised the religious climate and assessed the situation.
Alhamdulillaah, before I returned to London I left a copy of "Mountains of Knowledge" in a masjid where some people read english. I wouldn't normally use that book for basic daw'ah, but it was the only unread copy of a book I had over there. That was the foundation laid for some Daw'ah as-Salafiyyah in (south) Cyprus, Insha'allah.
Insha'allaah, I will be visiting Cyprus again soon, where I hope to lauch Maktabah Ishaaq ibn Raahawaih. Insha'allaah, it will be a means to distribute copies of the Greek translation of The Noble Qur'an, and also some daw'ah leaflets on Tawheed to people who read english.
