Assalaamu 'alaikum wa rahamtullaahi wa barakaatuhu.
Please can anyone explain to me the ruling on cleaning yourself six times with water & one time with earth - Does this refer to if the dog touches you (any part of the dog's body) or only if it licks you (saliva),since we have many strays here in India & one requires to know this ruling.
Also when one keeps domesticated dogs for guarding livestock or hunting ,one will invariably touch the dog.
So what is the ruling on this?
