Assalam u alaikum
Following the sincere advice of our beloved scholars, the likes of Sh. Rabe'a (ha) and others, and in the quest for reconciliation and recification, we felt the need to post this bayan on the present state of Masjid Ikwah, brooklyn-nyc.
In the past the salafiyah of the masjid was questioned because of certain affairs concerning the masjid. as a result of this, the masjid has taken necessary steps to better the situation there, such as: trying their best to teach their community the dawah tu salafiyah (aqeedah, minhaj, etc..), better their communication with other salafi organizations in nyc and outside of it.
resently discussions have taken place between the members of the masjid and the members of other organizations (Masjid Al Muslimeen, Ibn Baz center for learning and dawah, Masjid Rahmah), the following was reached:
-Masjid Ikwah assures that everyone on their administration is salafi
-Masjid Ikwah has commited itself to connecting to the classes of the scholars by way of tele-link etc.
-Masjid Ikwah affirms their support and relationship to the other salafi organizations present in nyc and outside of it.
we support our brothers at Masjid Ikwah and their efforts in keeping to that which has been mentioned above. we look forward to working and assisting one another on this path to the pleasure of Allah and His paradise.
we encourage the other org. around america to support them as well with du'a and advice. we understand that this unity upon the truth is that which Allah mentioned in His book and in the sunnah of the Messenger (sallah u alehi wa salam)
Allah says :"Hold all of you to rope of Allah and do not be devided"
Allah says :"Verily the muslims are brothers so correct that which is between you",
and other verses and hadith that call and demand this.
we pray that this is a step to assist the dawah in nyc and around america.

As Salaamu alaikum
Alhamdulillaah, I pray that that rectification lays the foundation for helping one another in righteousness and unites the brothers not only in word but in deeds. Ameen. I thank Almight Allaah for this web site although we are separated by distance we are still united. I am making dua for the brothers make dua for me. Mahmoud, I have not forgotten about you. My Salaams to Imaam Ibrahiem and Mustafa (thanks for getting back to me.)
