WHO ARE WE?
My name is Abu Abdullah Yusuf Ali Ibn Bernier and I am the Administrator of the Calgary Islamic Homepage. I have two other Co-Administrators, one from Philadelphia and the other from Maryland. The brother from Philly is Rasheed Abu Imad bin Earl bin Norman Gant who attends Masjid as-Sunnah an-Nabawiyyah. The other brother is Abu Yusuf Witherspoon who attends Masjid Ayah in Laurel, Maryland. The website has been in existence since 1997 and has undergone gigantic changes Wal Hamdulillah. If any questionable material in the past had ever existed on this website, it has been removed.
The Salafis in Calgary consist of just a few Brothers and Sisters, all of which have embraced Islaam. We, at the Calgary Islamic Homepage, adhere to the Manhaj and Aqeedah of the major scholars which include Shaykh al-Albaanee, Shaykh Ibn Baaz, Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen, Shaykh Muqbil (rahimahumullaah), Shaykh Faalih al-Harbee, Shaykh Muhammad al-Bannaa, Shaykh Rabee' bin Haadee, Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan, Shaykh Ahmad an-Najmee, Shaykh 'Ubayd al-Jaabiree, Shaykh Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad, Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee, Shaykh Muhammad ibn 'Abdullaah as-Sumaalee, as well as others among them.
OUR GOALS
Our aim for the Calgary Islamic Homepage is to strive hard to make connections with our Salafi Brothers in Canada, the US and abroad. We hope to educate ourselves, and as we grow, eventually establish a Musallah and Tele-links with our Noble Scholars. Our goal is to help spread the Salafi Da'wah far and wide as well as to educate the people of this city in the process. We wish to impress upon the Muslims of Calgary the call and return the Qur'aan and Authentic Sunnah of our beloved Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), to the Aqeedah and Manhaj of the Salaf-Us-Salih, the appreciation and love for it, and the respect and love for the senior scholars and their students who propagate it.
THE STATE OF MUSLIMS IN CALGARY
Calgary is known to be the harshest and most deviated community in Canada. Calgary is the stronghold of the Sufis, Ikhwanees, Jamaatul Tableegh, Ahbaash, and a variety of other deviant sects. They work closely together to encourage Bidaah and help spread the misguidance among the people. They shun the Salafis and our call and thus strive to ensure the general mass submits to their leadership and misguidance. Any Da'wah organization (or otherwise) caught attempting to do things on their own are harassed, belittled, slandered, and attacked until they join their ranks and are under their direct control and influence.
OUR APPEAL TO THE SALAFIS
We ask the Salafiyoon to help us by contributing, however you are able to, to help build and establish the Da'wah in Calgary. We are in need of your support and naseeha as much as possible.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Brother Moosa Richardson for his continuing valuable Naseeha as well as Ahmad Assing from TROID for his support, Naseeha and suggestions on improving our situation here in Calgary. We love you all for the sake of Allaah Subhanau Wa Ta'ala. May Allaah Ta 'Ala bless and reward you all, and may He grant us all success. Ameen.

Assalamua'laikum
To Akh Ahmad Assing and Abu Abdullah Yusuf Ali Ibn Bernier,
I found an article by Abu Aminah Bilal Philips transcripted from his lecture in Darul Arqam, Singapore; thanks to a brother Khairul Anwar who had highlighted this to me about this article.
I don't know about Bilal Philips, but the little i know he has still not recanted and has not come back to the Manhaj.
The article is in the Islamic Articles -Tazkiyyah section called - "Hardening of the Heart".
Also Darul Arqam is an organisation set up for those in Singapore who wants to embrace islam and learn Islam in English. Unfortunately this organisation is filled with soofees of the Naqshbandiyah sect and neo-mu'tazilees and those who are anti-hadeeth/anti-sunnah. These people use this platform to spread their deviation and recruit ignorants from amongst the new reverts/converts. These people are also anti-Salafiyah, in their gatherings they will mock and isults the Salafees. They even hold conferences and invite the likes of GF Hadad, Hamzah Yusuf, Nizam Haqqani, Imran Husein, Hosein Nasr, etc, among others.
The time Bilal Philips was invited, to one of their lectures, but at that time the Organisation was run by Ikhwanees, Suroorees. These people has been thrown out by the new people who took over the organisation thru their Annual General Meeting, where every year they have the kuffar way of elections and nominations.
So please, to the brothers in Calgary Islam, please remove this article. Having articles transcripted from lectures from Darul Arqam and Bilal Philips will only lead to fitnah as this only supports their criminality.

Just today I had received an email stating that the article mentioned in my last posting here has been deleted, Alhamdulillaah! JazakAllaahu khairal jaza' to the brothers in calgaryislam especially Rasheed Abu Imad bin Gant, for deleting the article of Bilal Philips and also to akh Khairul Anwar As-Singafuree for the help.
