As-Salaamu'Alaikum wa'Rahma tu'Llah,

Does anyone know of a companion or one of the a'immatus-salafu'salih with the name "Bahir" (roughly meaning shinning or illuminating)?

wa 'alaykumus-salaamu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh.

There was someone named Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Qazzaar al-Mateeree [d.479] who was known as al-Baahir ( الباهر ). Refer to Siyar A'laam an-Nubalaa' (18/492), but I don't know anything about him.
