ad-Da'wah as-Salafiyyah Takes A Firm Foothold In Michigan, Baarakallaahu Feeha..
By the Grace of Allaah, Salafiyyah is coming to this land which had become steeped in confusion and wastage of the clear principles of this blessed Da'wah. And from that which has happened from the Fadhl of Allaah is:
1) Abu Hafs al-Yemeni has taken the position of Imaam at Masjid Tawheed in Detroit. He was a student of Imaam Muqbil, rahimahullaah, and is coming back now from a stay in Dammaaj and a visit with some of the Kibaar of Medinah. He will begin regular classes on Saturday and Sunday evenings at the Masjid this week, Bi Idhnillaah.
2) The Salafyoon also have the mimbar at another Masjid in Detroit, Masjid Khaalid ibn Waleed, where some of the Shabaab rotate giving Khutbahs. There is a weekly Telelink with the Mashaykh on Saturday after Dhuhr and currently Shaykh 'Ali at-Tuwaijuree is teaching Kash ash-Shubuhaat.
3) The Salafee brothers in Flint have established a Masjid in their city and some of them regularly attend the Halaqah mentioned above, and one of the brothers who is from Sudan translates it to English, Jazzahumullaahu Khaira.
4) There is also a weekly Halaqah held at the Bayt ush-Shabaab in Dearborn, by the brother Abu Dujaanah, who also has studied at the Markaz of Imaam Muqbil, rahimahullah. There are also readings in Tawassul and The Explanation of Thalaathah Usool of Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhalee by some of the Shabaab. This is in close proximity of the Ikhwaanee Headquarters of Michigan, Masjid Dix, where anyone who wishes to attend can meet the brothers at Salaat ul-Maghrib on Saturday.
5) There will be a Lecture Series this Weekend at Wayne State University and a Telelink with one of the Mashaykh which will be translated Inshallaah. There will also be speakers from those mentioned above. This is the beginning of further programs to come from the Salafyoon to unite and come together on this Da'wah and tighten the ranks of Ahl us-Sunnah.
So we see in Michigan and all over the United States and the West that the Da'wah is returning to the Masaajid and their Lajnahs, and staying away from the danger of Jam'iyyaat which are often founded upon Hizbiyyah and Ta'assub to the individuals in charge of them. Rather, when the Da'wah returns to the Masaajid and the people refer their matters back to the scholars, there is a safeguarding from the trials which afflict the people from the angles of fame and authority with the people. At the same time there is a clear responsibility upon the Imaams to show clarity in their 'Aqidah and Manhaj and these Lajnahs to respect their authority in 'Ilm, and to cooperate upon righteousness and taqwa and in mutually referring their affairs back to the Scholars. So this success which has come to this Da'wah is truly a Mercy from our Lord, and to Him belongs the praise and thanks for it.
As He has said, Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala:

"Allâh has promised those among you who believe, and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the earth, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion, that which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieved after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh)." (An-Nur 24:55)

And the Messenger of Allaah (Salawaat Allaahu wa Salaam Alayhi) has said:

?Indeed Allaah gathered up the earth for me, so that I saw its eastern and western parts; and indeed the dominion of my ummah will reach whatever was gathered up for me from it.? Reported by Muslim (no.2889) and Aboo Daawood (no.4252), from Thawbaan radiallaahu ?anhu

He also said, Salawaatullaahi wa Salaam Alayh:

?This affair will reach whatever is reached by the night and the day. And Allaah will not leave a dwelling of brick, nor of fur, except that He will cause this Religion to enter into it, bringing either honor or humiliation; honor which Allaah grants to Islaam or humiliation which Allaah gives to unbelief.? It was declared to be authentic (saheeh) by the master of hadeeth (haafidh), ?Abdul-Ghanee al-Maqdisee, in Dhikrul-Islaam (1/166). |

And he also said, Salawaatullaahi wa Salaam Alayh:

?Give glad-tidings to this ummah of honour, establishment upon the earth, help and victory, and preeminence of the Religion. Whosoever does an action of the Hereafter for a worldly motive, will have no portion of the Hereafter.? Saheeh: Reported by al-Haakim (4/311) from ?Ubayy ibn Ka?b radiallaahu ?anhu. It was declared to be saheeh by the leading hadeeth specialist (muhaddith) of this age, Shaykh Muhammad Naasirud-Deen al-Albaanee, in Saheehul-Jaami? (no.2825).

as salaamu alaikum
what is the present state of the brothers and sisters upon salafiyyah there given the fact that there is the legacy of QSS in detroit along with the damage that has been done there?
as for fahmi al yamani, wasnt he tied to qss? has he left them?
