Bismillaah was salaatu was salaamu 'alaa rasoolillaah, wa ba'ad;

Recently there was a death in Slough and the salafis wanted to know if it was permissible to pray the janaazah for the deceased as it was to be held in the masjid where the deviant imaam about whom Shaykh Ubaid al-Jaabiree said "...he is a misguided innovator as he may have other misguided beliefs that you are not aware of. And I advise you not to pray behind him."  was going to lead the prayer.

After contacting our brother Abdulillah Lahmami (hafidhullah), who then contacted Shaykh Muhammad al-Banna (hafidhullah) (who is aware of the deviations of this man and has advised the salafis in Slough for the past 2 years on this situation), we were advised by the Shaykh, with the following where the Shaykh said he was aware of the brothers situation in Slough very well, and he said that the salafees may pray the janaazah of the muslim in that masjid, however, if the dead one was a salafi then make the specific du'a for him in the prayer and if he was not a salafi, then make the general du'a for the dead person in the prayer and the Shaykh re-iterated that other than the janaazah the remaining prayers must be established away from the masjid at the musallah in the salafibookstore in Slough.

Brothers from Slough visited both mashaaikh in Ramadhaan, and explained their situation in detail, and were advised to carrying on praying upon their own musalla, and not to return back to the masjid, and to advise those who ascribe themselves to da'wahtus-salafiyyah, the da'wah of haq, to return back to the salafis in their town and to abandon the masjid.

So we advise those who are stubborn and continue to attend the masjid and abandon the salafi shop to listen to the major scholars and take heed of their advice and return back to the bookstore and to have fear of Allaah and to be sincere to Allaah and we remind them sincerely, for indeed they don't understand this deen as it is understood by those who are older than them in 'ilm, acting upon that 'ilm, knowing the more halaal from 2 halaals and more haraam from the 2 haraams, those who are old in age and experience, and those whom Allaah and His Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam have praised - the kibaar 'ulema.  The best of mankind in all times.

And we remind them and advise them to stop organising arabic and other classes in the masjid where they are advised not to be in the first place and stop helping and co-operating with ahlul bid'ah, as they have been seen with those who rejected this da'wah years ago and chose to oppose it. As the Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said: 'A man is upon the religion of his companion'. So we ask these people who are your companions? Those of Sunnah and striving to be upon the Sunnah? Or those who oppose the Sunnah ardently and are engrossed in bid'ah in almost every aspect of their religion!!! Wallaahu musta'an. And insha-allah this will be better for their final determination.

Allaah?s Messenger sallallaahu alaihi wasallam said ?All of my ummah will enter Jannah, except those who reject?.  Have fear for your deen yaa ikhwaan, and stop following the footsteps of shaytaan.

And Allaah knows best.

Jazaakallaahu khair for this - may Allaah make us all sincere and cure the sicknesses (in the heart) of the sick and guide the misguided.

Rayhaan
