Does anyone know exactly who is Khalid Yasin (said to be from the Brooklyn area). He put together a CD titled "The Purpose of Life, What Do You Really Know About Islam? Islamic Teaching Institute I believe is the producers of the CD and and Allah knows best.
I ask this because a brother was interested in distributing them at the masjid and by other means. However we haven't allowed him to do so since nobody here knows if he is Salafy or not.
So if someone can assist in this, it would be helpful. Additionally provide some brief proofs, especially if this brother isnt Salafy so we can let the brother know why we wont allow the distribution of his tapes.
