A new portal on Jamaa'at ut-Tableegh has been added to sahab. Access it at the following link:

In shaa' Allaah, it will become a centralized place for fataawa and refutations on this evil sect.

Without a doubt, the emergence and spread of this cult is amongst the most evil fitan which the Ummah has seen in recent times. This is a sect which has actively spread shirk and khuraafah throughout the world in the name of da'wah. It was established in the 1920's by a filthy zindeeq from India named Muhammad Illiyaas, may Allaah give him what he deserves. This man was a known Soofee who regularly practiced acts of shirk at the tombs and claimed to have received revelation of the "true meanings" of the Qur'aan in his dreams. When I asked Saalih al-Fawzaan (by way of Paltalk, not in person) during his Nawaaqid ul-Islaam lectures about the one who says this, he quickly replied that such a person has nullified his Islaam, i.e. he is a kaafir.

Although he has long been dead, the shirkee legacy of Illiyaas lives on, as his grave is now a taaghoot which is worshipped on a daily basis by his followers at the Tableeghee headquarters (Nidhaam ud-Deen) in India. Shaykh Rabee' al-Madkhalee is an eyewitness to this.

I recommend that everyone listen to the audio of Shaykh al-Fawzaan (which is played automatically as you enter the site) and the audio by Muhammad al-Haajiree. The latter is one of the best and most in-depth refutations that I have heard on the Tableegh. The detail and accuracy with which he described them indicates that they are the same wherever they may be, Saudi Arabia, America, Egypt, etc. In fact, the Noble Shaykh and former member of the Lajnah, 'Abdur-Razzaaq 'Afeefee, has stated something similar to this.

In similar vein, I intend (by the Power of Allaah 'Azz wa Jal) to start a thread here on SalafiTalk in which, bit-by-bit, the refutations of this cult can be translated and posted for the benefit of members and non-members. I also intend to gather and post the links to everything else that has been posted about them elsewhere in this forum for easy reference. Indeed, it is clear that the Tableegh are spreading throughout the world, perhaps at an even greater rate in the west than in the Muslim world. In fact, they have recently held their yearly conferences in the USA and Canada. Concurrently, confusion regarding their status has spread as a result of Abul-Hasan's shameless attempt to include them into Ahl us-Sunnah.

And Allaah is Most Capable of protecting His Deen from the heretics and innovators.
