A word From The Hostess
Dearest Sisters in Islam,
I want to extend a special invitation to you. You are invited to attend "The Mother of the Believers Series I, Luncheon & Fundraiser". On the said date, a group of sisters will host a fundraiser for a family that has made intentions to study the ?Arabic language and some principles of the Deen in Sanaa, Yemen. The event will feature lectures from some of the premier du?aat. The du?aat will remind the sisters about the obligation upon women to seek knowledge, the rewards of sadaqah, and the stories of the Mothers of the Believers, radhiyallaahu ?anhunaa.
Vendors will be present selling Islamic books, tapes, jilbaabs, abayas, etc. There will also be an opportunity for sisters to really spoil themselves, as a henna artist and two hairstylists will be on hand accepting
walk-in clients. There are still spaces available for inexpensive vending opportunities.
Allaah has commanded the believers to assist one another in righteousness and piety. You can assist this family greatly by attending the luncheon fundraiser. The reward of the Muslim who is willing to help his fellow Muslim is tremendous. The Prophet sallallaahu ?alaihi wa sallam said, "Whoever aids his brother, Allah will aid him, as long as he is aiding his
brother." ? Saheehul Muslim
Sisters, we spend money all the time on things that serve us no benefit at all. I implore you to plan to come the luncheon and let your monies be a witness for you and not against you. In Sha Allaah, Allaah will make us of the women of the paradise.
