Assalamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu,
Hope everyone is in good eemaan and health,ameen.
Recently a sister showed me a picture on a website,which they are saying(people who took the picture)is of a jinn,i know that we are not able to see jinn unless they present themselves in the form of a human being or animal etc.
But apparently,this picture was taken in Cave Hira(where the prophet,sallallahu alayhi'wa sallam,recieved the first revelation)some people were supposed to have gone to the cave and outside heard a voice saying not to come in,so they took picture to light up the cave with the flash,the man who took it apparently had a heartattack when he saw it,and when they developed it this is what they saw.
im not sure whether i will be allowed to post this address on here,but i would like someone to take a look at it(the picture)and maybe explain what it could be,as it definitely does not look like a human being,its realy strange.

In the Name of Allaah, the Most Merciful, may His Salaah and Salaam be upon his Messenger, to proceed:
1 - We affirm the existance of the Jinn without the need to see pictures of them.
2 - If someone has a picture of a jinn, then they should destroy it and certainly not pass it around, as pictures of things with souls are not permissible and they are to be destroyed.
3 - We should be busy learning our Deen and not get distracted by the affairs that busy the common people and keep them from learning Allaah's Deen.
4 - If someone claims to have a picture of a jinn or that he saw one and can describe it, then we are not able to confirm or deny that, since the world of the jinn is ghayb.
5 - Such an thing does not have any real effect on people trying to get close to Allaah. It neither benefits them nor harms them.
6 - If it is true that there was a jinn in the cave, then it would not be shocking since we already believe in the existance of jinns. If some people claim that seeing an image of a jinn increases their eemaan, then those people would lose their eemaan when they find out the image was a hoax! Let us increase our eemaan with the Truth found in the Revelation, that which we will find NO disappointment in.
7 - If someone has made a computer generated image of a jinn for fun and then invented a story about it, then upon them are the major sins of image-making, lying, deception, causing fitnah amongst the Muslims, distracting people from Allaah's Path, etc.
8 - There is no sin on a person who intended to use a camera to light up the cave and actually took a picture of a jinn, since he intended only to use the light and not make an image of something with a soul. However, he must destroy the image since the image itself is prohibited. Thus he will be rewarded for removing an evil, and he will not held accountable for making an image in shaa' Allaah, so long as he never intended to do so.

9 - If the story is true, then it could have been a Muslim jinn forbidding his human brothers from all that bid'ah going on up on that mountain.

That picture you speak of has been proven to be a hoax. It is a sculpture made of hard-plastic, which is located in Bristol, England and part of a tourist attraction. I have seen pictures online of people standing beside the sculpture.
