AsSalaamu Alaikum wa rahmatullah.
Yaa ikhwaan, as we all know, the search function for this forum has been disabled due to a lack of computing resources. AlHamdulillah, I believe i have found a way to perform searches on the site by using www.google.com, and therby off-load the computing burden from this site...
-Go to the site: www.google.com
-Click on the Advanced Search link
-Type in your words to be searched, ie: baaz
-Find the line for entering the DOMAIN
-Type the the domain, ie: salafitalk.net
-Click on Search...
This has worked most of the time for me. Bi'ithnillah it should work for you as well.

My apoligies... I just noticed that bro Moosaa recently posted similar information about google.com. I did not mean to be redundant. The method I use is slightly different but the same effect, Allahu A'lim.

Perhaps the Admin of SalafiTalk should include a special permanent button/link on the main home page, with these instructions. Maybe the Brother could also incorporating the features of Google search onto the page, if possible.
This is because many users are posting new topics/threads that have already been answered and discussed during yester years and thus taking up valuable memory/bandwidth. This could be because they are not aware of the google searching feature, which registered users, aswell as non-users should utilise appropriatly, Insha'Allah.
