akh, what's this "orange book"? personally i havent ever heard of it before. altho im familiar with the madinah book series.

You can't go wrong with the madinah books as they yeach you correct fusha which the author constantly gives you examples from the book and sunnah. Thay are designed to be taught though, so you should try your best to find a teacher who has been taught them also.
