assalaamu alaykum can someone find out from the scholars or their students if it is permissible to make something you love namely food/drink haram upon oneself as a covenent to ALLAH SWT,seeking HIS aid in a serious trial, as did the prophet Yaqoob did when he was seriously ill? I ask this being that it is not for us to make haram what ALLAH SWT has made halal.
