Bismillah Wassalaathu Wassalaam A'alaa Rasoolilah, Wa Ba'ad:
Assalaamu Alaikum
I have a quick question, which i would be greatful if the brothers or the sisters who are able to can answer, which was asked to me but i wasn't sure on the reply.
Are Things like Eyebrow, Belly Button, etc. Piercings allowed for Muslim Females? Please give the proof with your comments!

I called Shaikh Ubayd al-Jaabiree in 1997 asking him this question and he replied that it was not permissible. That is was an imitation of the Kuffaar and additionally not safe for the human body.
And Allaah knows best.

Does this include nose piercings? I ask because I've asked about this issue before and a sister gave this to me as a response:
Q.137: what is the ruling on piercing the ear or nose of a female infant for beautification?
The Answer: the correct opinion is that there is no harm in ear piercing because it coincides with the intentions by which permissible adornment with jewelry is achieved. It is affirmed that the wives of the companions used to wear earrings. It is tormenting, but only slightly and if it is done in the early years it heals quickly. As for nose piercing, I don't know of any statement of the scholars concerning it, but in our view it is a form of mutilation and deformation of the body. It could be that others do not see it as so, therefore if a woman is in a country in which nose piercing is considered beautiful or a decoration then there is no harm in it.

But the answer did not seem totally clear to me, so can you clarify its meaning inshaa Allah. Also, the question was asked if there is someone who already has such a piercing, should it be removed? May Allah reward you.
