These are just a few of the many narrations from the Salaf indicating that it is from the Usool of the Sunnah that we hate the Innovators, and the People of Desires and that this is from the necessities of the aqeedah of al-walaa and al-baraa for the Salafee Aqeedah, and that these actions of the heart necessarily follow from a sound and correct Aqeedah.

In contemporary times, a new band of Extremist Murji'ah emerged, beginning with Hassan al-Banna [let us co-operate in that which we agree...] and ending with Safar al-Hawaali and Salmaan al-Awdah [al-Muwaazanah] and Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq [presence of ikhwaan and tableegh and tahreer provides good "competition" in da'wah!] and Ar'oor [al-Muwaazanah, we correct and do not disparage...], and al-Ma'ribee [vast, spacious manhaj, jamaa'aat of innovation are from al-firqat un-naajiyah, we correct and do not destroy] (and those after them following in their way), who wished to nullify these actions for the heart for the Salafee Aqeedah, and they placed doubts, principles and other than that - all in order to defend the Innovators and their ideologies (that they had adopted), and to remove the barriers that the Sunnah placed in between truth and falsehood, between the Salafee aqeedah and the bid'iyy aqeedah, between the Salafee manhaj and the Harakee manaahij. As a result of this, generations have been produced who are charged up and zealous, yet ignorant youth, in whom the extremity of corruption in al-walaa and al-baraa concerning the Salafee aqeedah is found, due to the efforts of the aforementioned. Amongst the greatest of indications of that is what they often utter (without even realising the great corruption in that) of baseless, and often ridiculous defence of what emanated from the one they have adopted as their chief and leader, Sayyid Qutb [who fused Jewish Leninist Marxism, with Christian Carrel's notions of Barbarism, Mawdudis concept of the divine government (run by an elite few), and who in his great ignorance, spoke with almost every Innovation found amongst the various sects].
Then, their love and hate in the heart is determined not by the actual Salafee aqeedah, to which they claim attachment, but it is based around their evil and innovated methodologies, and any attachment to the Salafee aqeedah is only theoretical and is nothing more than mere ma'rifah (knowledge), which has no implications upon the actions of the heart. So they acknowledge Tawheed with its three types, and make tasdeeq of the details of the Salafee aqeedah, but it does not progress beyond mere ma'rifah in the heart, it does not progress into actions of the heart, love and hate, and outward manifestation of all of that. And this is - as Shaykh Rabee' bin Haadee pointed out in his refutation of Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee, in the article on "The Vast Manhaj" - similar to the Jahmee aqeedah. And this is the actual reality of ascription of the Murji'at ul-Qutbiyyah to the Salafee aqeedah. It does not trascend mere ma'rifah in the heart. Rather, the only affairs that relate to aqeedah that are of concern to them are those few around which their Leninist Manhaj of Khurooj is built [Qutb being a former Marxist Socialist who helped orchestrate the July 1952 Revolution to bring in the Nasserite Taaghootee Order], because these few affairs serve as the springboard for the ideological justification of their manhaj. As for the generality of the affairs of the Salafee aqeedah, in all its detail, then it is mere ma'rifah in the heart. And the greatest most open hujjah is the fact that they know that "the Bridge" (i.e. Qutb) that transported the ideas of Alexis Carrel, Leninist Marxism, and concept of the Raafidee Imaamate to them, was Jahmee, Ash'aree in Aqeedah, Mu'tazilee towards Hadeeth, Aqlaanee in Tafseer, Raafidee towards the Sahaabah, a Khaarijee Takfeeree making takfeer of the whole Ummah, Mu'awwil of the texts, and so on - and all of this is found in the latest and final editions of the books of Qutb... So their claim of ascription to the Salafee aqeedah would necessitate that they make baraa'ah and show hatred and dislike around these matters.
However, their outward behaviour signifies only one of three things:
a) That the Salafee aqeedah is only ma'rifah and tasdeeq in the heart, from which no actions of the heart result, and that this is what they believe and hold that it is possible for you to hold the Salafee aqeedah and then behave how you want in your actions of the heart and the actions of the limbs, and this is the aqeedah Jahm ibn Safwaan.
b) That they are actually ignorant of the Salafee aqeedah, so they do not know its details such that the actions of the heart should follow on from it. And thus their claim to Salafiyyah (as many of the Qutbiyyah nowadays make) is counterfeit.
c) Or they know the Salafee aqeedah, and they also know that their must be walaa and baraa built around this aqeedah which manifests itself in the heart and limbs, but they have desires and obstacles in their hearts, which prevent the knowledge of the heart naturally expressing itself into the actions of the heart and limbs. And these obstacles are their hatred and dislike of the Salafees, their enmity towards them, their jealousy of them and the refusal to leave the falsehood that they know that they are upon and what is connected to that of pride and arrogance and hizbiyyah and so on.
And this behavioural pattern embodied in this Irjaa', and the expulsion of the actions of the heart, and what follows on from it in outward walaa and baraa for the Salafee aqeedah, was carried by the likes of al-Awdah, al-Hawali, Abdur-Rahmaan Abdul-Khaaliq, Ar'oor and more recently al-Ma'ribee, and the latter, with his sophisticated principles, brought about the corruption in walaa and baraa in many of those ascribing to Salafiyyah.
It is for this reason that the Imaam of al-Jarh wat-Ta'deel said concerning this faction, "It is more befitting that they are labelled as the Ghullaat ul-Murji'ah before they are described as the Khaarijiyyah Asriyyah", because for the sake of this one Innovator, they have sold themselves for a miserable price, the price of the Leninist Marxist discourse, the price of Alexis Carrels "Barbarism" (Jaahiliyyah), the price of Mawdudis Raafidee concept of Imaamah, all of which came together in the brain of this man, and then in the context of the simmering pot of the Nasserite Taaghootee State that he helped to established, out came the doctrines of "Jaahiliyyah", "Haakimiyyah", "Takfeer" and "Khurooj".
