Wa'alaikum Salaam wa rahmatullah,

Just some breif points from the book "The Medicine of the Prophet" by Ibnul-Qayyim:

-Honey is good for stomach pains, as it is a strong laxative drug

-One of the benefits of cupping is that it cleanses the surface of the body

-Cupping on the upper back is good for shoulder and throat pains

-Cupping of the occipital veins (veins around the head and neck) are beneficial for the head and parts of it, such as the teeth, throat, ears, eyes, face, or nose.  This may be due to a corruption of blood in the area, or excess of it.

-Cupping is also for relieving headaches, and fatigue, and many other benefits mentioned in the book

-Narrated Sulaiman bin Surd

While I was sitting in the company of the Prophet, two
men abused each other and the face of one of them
became red with anger, and his jugular veins swelled
(i.e. he became furious). On that the Prophet said, "I
know a word, the saying of which will cause him to
relax, if he does say it. If he says: 'I seek Refuge with
Allah from Satan.' then all is anger will go away."
Somebody said to him, "The Prophet has said, 'Seek
refuge with Allah from Satan.' " The angry man said,
"Am I mad?"

Bukharee, Book of the Beginning of Creation

-Narrated AbuDharr

The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said to us:
When one of you becomes angry while standing, he
should sit down. If the anger leaves him, well and
good; otherwise he should lie down.
