I asked the Sheikh yesterday that there is a (daa'ee) caller who says during the time of the Fitnah of Abul Hasan that the best that has been written on the topic of 'Hukm Taariq as-Salat' (ruling on those that leave the prayer) is a book by Abul Hasan al Masree al Ma'rabee (even though he is refuted as innovating principles in Islam and has spoken ill of companions), so what do you say Oh sheikh to this?
The sheikh replied:
This Person is not salafee, if this daa'ee encourages the people to read Abul Hasan's books then they will be inclined to his other writings and will be affected by him so you should not attend his lessons and study with this person. I before did not know the condition of Abul Hasan and used to copy his tapes he did in England in particular the tape he did refuting a takfeeri where Abul Hasan praised and defended Sheikh Rabee' as i have not seen but now i know his condition and I refute him. So advise those brothers about this da'ee who encourages people to read the books of Abul Hasan and if they don't listen then what can you do? As long as you have advised them.

Infact when Abul Hasan came to see Sheikh al Banna, sheikh al Banna had that tape ready and played it to him and said look at you now Abu Hasan, refuting the sheikh and fighting the heads of Ahlu sunnah.
Also on another occasion i heard Sheikh al Banna say that the Ikhwaanil Muslimoon have place the likes of Abul Hasan to bring down the heads of Ahlu sunnah in particular sheikh Rabee' for he has brought their heads down and exposed their errors (Sayid Qutb and his likes).
قال تعالى:{إنا نحن نزلنا الذكر وإنا له لحافظون} قال الشيخ السعدي - رحمه الله - في تفسيره (3/31): " فلا يحرف محرف معنى من معانيه( القرآن ) إلا وقيض الله له من يبين الحق المبين وهذا من أعظم آيات الله ونعمه على عباده المؤمنين".
Jazaak Allaahu khayran akhee! We need to hear more of the statements of the shaykh and more of his mawaaqif. So please continue in this, baarak Allaahu feek, as the shaykh is from our elder scholars, hafithahullaah, and we don't hear much about him...
