As-Salaamu 'alaykum wa Rahmatullaah,
For those of us who are either new to the daw'at-us-Salafiyyah or who have been striving upon it for some years, here in the west, particularly in the US it is difficult to obtain the books of the ulama of the present and the past. Alhamdulillah, there are the websites of our brothers and sisters at Troid and Salafipublications and other than them. But for those of us in the US, getting access to the most recent tapes of the Ulama and the students of knowledge, is very difficult. This is many times the problem if we are seeking the books of the Imaams of the past, whether in Arabic or in English.
I am wondering if any of the brothers have knowledge of how to purchase the books and tapes of the contemporary Ulama? And beyond that, does anyone know of bookstores from which we can purchase the books of the Imaams of the past in arabic? I am particularly interested in the books of Shaykh-ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah and his student Imaam Ibn Qayyim and other than them.
And has anyone thought of how we can keep each other informed about the latest tapes of the Ulama and the students of knowledge? For the sake of this dawah and, insha'allah, fi-sabilallah we should be able to keep one another updated and connected to the latest knowledge. This would help me keep up and increase my own imaan, I am sure, and insha'allah, the same for others. I make du'a that someone can repond to this and the brothers and sisters of this blessed dawah can do more to aid in its increase here in the west as well as the world in general. Insha'allah, I can and will do whatever is within my capacity to aid this effort for the sake of Allaah.
