Asalaamu alaikum...
Would anyone know of this brothers relationship to Sufism?... I know a a few things from him directly i.e. Adhering to a madhab; Bayah; and also, 'his' understanding of what Al-Ihsaan is. Wa'allahu musta'3n.
Over the years I have advised many brothers regarding him being a Sufee, and now to a lesser degree still do. I would like to add, inshallah to the information I have already, should there be anything there, inshallah.
Should any of the brothers, inshallah require the replies from e-mails rec'd from him responding to the 3 questions I had asked of him, pls let me know, I will post them here, inshallah.

We prefer to call him 'Hamza useless'! and as a brother aslo said about him 'He does not have the courage of Hamza (the companion) neither the looks of Yusuf (the prophet)!!! Be aware of such foolishness as the earth is filled with such a people!

As Salaamu Aalaikum wa Rahmatulah
I doubt any of us have the courage of the Sahabi Hamza (radi Allahu anhu) or the beauty of nabi Yusef (alahi as-Salaam) Masha'Allaah
However, the few times I've heard the so-called "Sheikh" commonly known as Hamza Yusef, it was obvious that he does not follow the minhaj of the Pious Predecessors. In fact, he once shared the stage with Muhammad Sharif, while the latter openly critized the Salafiyoon. Allahualim.
