Assalaamu Alaykum Warahamtullahi Wabarakatuh Amma Ba'ad Insha Allah Ta'allah a siter jsut mentioned to me that a scholar has told her to read surat ul Baraqah during 40 days and blow on herslef as she is facing some health problems and that Insha Allah she will feel better Is this permissible and is it a sunnah practiced by the prophet Muhammad (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) or is it Bida'h? To my knowledge, making duahs and blowing on oneself or others depends on ones state of Imaan.
