AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
In case some of you are not aware, we are extremely pleased to announce
that we have found a new premise for the School and Masjid in Bradford, UK.
This building is bigger and better with a similar price tag as the
previous church building. There are a lot of details to this story and
we are sure you will appreciate that we cannot mention everything just yet.
All we can inform you is that this building has come out of nowhere and is
a blessing from the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth. All Praise is due
to Allah alone.
LATEST DEVELOPMENTS FROM TODAY:
We returned from the Solicitors at 6pm today and have been informed that
InshaAllah the building will be our property by Wednesday next
week. We have done a structural survey of the building and the report
will be provided to us by Friday. We also have the complete floor plans and
will be providing all these scanned documents to you within the next 10
days. We strongly feel that this is a community project and this is why
transparency is our top priority.
This in essence means that we ONLY HAVE 7 DAYS to raise all the money.
Brothers and sisters we want to make it crystal clear to everyone that we
do not have the money at present. The following is a table that
outlines the figures:
As can be seen we have raised 246,412 pounds. We require an
additional 73,587 pounds (50,712 pounds to acquire the building and
22,876 pound to make essential modifications to the building). We do not
have any other loans confirmed nor do we want to take any further loans.
This is because we have already taken 91,000 worth of loans and paying them
back can be a very painful process and we fear the long term effects this
can have on albaseerah charity.
So we are making a strong plea to you to help us or this project can
collapse again due to lack of funds. This will be a massive blow to
Albaseerah Bradford and we ask Allah to protect us from this.
We of course understand that many of you will have some valid concerns. We
hope that the following will remove some of them:
- Unlike previously, this time we have received a written confirmation of
the acceptance of our bid.
- The paperwork is in the process.
- We are working tirelessly for a 7 day completion.
Additionally, we understand that some people will be concerned that if this
project falls through again then their money will just be sitting static in
the albaseerah account. We want to remove this doubt by asking those
concerned to email masjid@albaseerah.com as soon as they have transferred
their money. Please provide your name, contact number, amount and method of
payment. We will log this and in the extremely unlikely event (We Ask
Allahs aid) that this falls through, we will give you your money back
immediately.
The website is now completely up to date with the latest figures. Please

active.
We would like to finally mention that we have been given complete
assurances by the current building owners that this building is ours and
that they will stick by their word. We ask Allahs aid.
Please hurry and donate for a noble cause, a Masjid for the community
and a school for the young children!

LATEST NEWS:
- We got a call from the Solicitors yesterday confirming that everything is going as planned and that the searches are underway.
- Over 8000 pounds worth of donations came yesterday including a 5520 pound cash donation at the bookshop. All of this gives much needed confidence that this target is surely achievable with your help.
- We remind ourselves and you that this is an investment for everyone. It is a recurring charity that will continue long after our souls are taken InshaAllah.
- We require 66,080 pounds to go and only 5 days remaining. No doubt something special is required from the community and we ask Allah to grant everyone the ability to give.
- We have seen so much generosity from this community that it has certainly shocked everyone who has witnessed it. We have received donations from Australia, UK, America, Canada, Malaysia, Singapore, Germany, France, Holland, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and several more countries.
- If we do acquire this building, we will InshaAllah hold an Open tour for brothers and sisters next weekend. We want to give everyone the opportunity to view the building and see what they have donated for.
- 33 people are required to buy 33 full bricks (2000 pounds each) and we have met the target.
- Our intention is simple and clear: to provide a place of worship, call to Tawheed and Sunnah and nurture children upon Islam. This building is in the heart of a community and has so much potential for growth.

AssalamuAlaikum Wa Rahmatullah,
Our deadline for collecting donations ended last night. The following are the latest figures:
- Target: 320,000 Pounds
- Raised: 284, 716 Pounds
- Loan: 116,000 Pounds
- Donations: 168, 716 Pounds
From the total money raised, we were left with no other option but to accept an additional 25,000 pound loan. As explained earlier, we wanted to avoid taking out too much loans as it puts Albaseerah under extreme pressure to pay it back. We have taken a risk here and we ask for Allahıs aid. We truly thank our brother who loaned us this money as we received a random phone call and within a few days he transferred the money into our account. May Allah bless him, increase his wealth and grant him success in this world and the hereafter.
As can be seen we have not achieved the target we required which was 320,000 pounds. As a reminder, the building cost is 295,000 pounds and an additional 25,000 pounds is required for essential, bare minimum modifications. We want to iterate that this additional cost is absolutely vital for immediate security fencing and other structural changes internally.
We want to sincerely thank every single person for their extreme hard work and generosity in helping this cause. We constantly ask Allah to accept it from each and every one of you and make it very heavy on your scales.
To conclude, because we have not reached our target we are at crossroads. We have been in meetings constantly for the last 5 days to see how we can proceed. In reality we do not have a final solution or conclusion at the moment. Please bear with us and we will provide you with information as soon as we are able.

MAJOR DAWAH ANNOUNCEMENT: Albaseerah Masjid & School Project
Bismillaah Walhamdulillaah, Assalaamu 'Alaykum. It is with great joy and pleasure that we here at Albaseerah share with you the good news that 11:15 on the day of Jum'ah 15th of Shawaal (Friday the 24th of September), that with the aid of Allaah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala, Albaseerah in Bradford successfully completed the purchase of its new Masjid & School Building Alhamdulillaah.
