There will be a fund raiser for our brothers and sisters in East London, Maktabatul Athariyyah. The brothers are raising funds to establish a Masjid in East London. Please donate generously!
Our brothers from Gloucester will have a stall aimed at non-Muslims, where there will be free literature and Cd's for them. At this stall Brothers & Sisters can buy rare Cd's of the Mashaaykh & Du'aat!

Assalaamu 'Alaykum Warah'matullaah,
The event went very well, and all praise is to Allaah!
Eventhough we did not see any non-Muslims inside the lecture theatre, there were many non-Muslim students & teachers coming to our stalls grabbing a date or two, getting some FREE 'literature & having a chat with us & asking us what is going on today. Masha Allah it was very harmonious!
And as we know the narration of the Prophet, Salla laahu 'Alayhi Wasallam:
Whoever does not thank people (for their favors) has not thanked Allah (properly), Mighty and Glorious is He!
(Bukhaari & Muslim)
So in conformity to this Hadeeth, I would like to thank:
* Those who were involved in advertising the event
* those who were involved in preparing the refreshments for the attendees
* Those who bought the refreshment & carried it to the University
* those who were selling items for Charity
* Those who went around with buckets collecting money for Charity
* Those brothers & sisters who were going around to see if everyone had something to drink & eat!
* Those who helped out packing up & carry the material back!
* Also would like to thank our brothers who came all the way from Gloucester to distribute FREE material to the non-Muslims & Muslims!
Approx 200+ attendees at yesterdays event. The lecture was superb, Tabaarakallaah! Very educative!
The Question and Answer session was excellent aswell. Unfortunately not all questions could be answered due to the amount of questions & due to the lack of time.
Our brothers from Gloucester have recorded the lecture & Question & Answer session.
Keep an eye on this thread for updates regarding that!
