The Shaykh gave some beautiful advice mentioning within it that all statements actions and movements will be called to account, that from the blessings of Allaah today is that the knowledge is widespread, due the ways and means that Allaah has enabled in these contemporary times, and at the same time, ignorance and innovation has also spread, through the particular ways and means it has. That the deviant orientations, then there are ways and means to correct them, advise them, or to establish the proof upon those amongst them.

That we do not forget, alongside the obligation of refuting the opposers, that we also purify our souls and our hearts and that we do not forget this matter. That the greatest of things that are feared for this da'wah is not from its enemies or from those who are upon deviant orientations but from those who ascribe themselves to Salafiyyah, but who did not truly study it, or understand it.

The importance of humility in da'wah, and not seeking ascendancy (uluww), and that the humble beiever with little means and who is not held in high esteem, and whose word is not given any worth is better than other than him. Mentioning of the hadeeth concerning the worshipper of the deenaar and dirham (as an illustration of those who follow the dunyaa and seek it). That nothing will benefit us in front of Allaah except correct actions with pure sincere intentions, and that are truthful and that we support the truth in whatever way, wherever it comes from. That the Salaf have left us many examples in which there is to be found admonitions for us, such as for example, they passing on matters to those who are more qualified than them in the matters of knowledge and verdicts, and that they did not push themselves forward, and were sincere. And that this is what is required, sincerity, and piety and truthfulness.

And that Allaah has given an example of one who is not like that, like the one who could be elevated if he heeded Allaah's signs, but he clung to the earth, and is like the dog who if driven away lolls out its tongue and if left, it lolls out its tongue. And this example is actually found with us today and it is the example of Abul-Hasan al-Misree whom Shaytaan has played with. How this man was first put to trial with takfeer, then Allaah blessed him to move in proximity to Shaykh Muqbil, but he did not benefit from them, then this man entered into Ilm ul-Hadeeth, and then he fell into excesses upon his soul and began to make mistakes, and become confused, and then whenever anyone tried to correct him, he did not take it, and eventually caused splits. So he actually used the knowledge only to support his own self, and so Shaytaan followed him up and he became amongst the Ghaaween. So then he used whatever he had of knowledge to continue to suport his ownself (in falsehood). So this is an admonition that is in front of us today, Allaah made it an admonition for us, how a man can acquire knowledge, and then fall into playing and fooling with the Sunnah.

Then the Shaykh supplicated amongst which was that Allaah makes us sincere and that He forgives us and grants us success in His path, and helps us against our souls and helps us against the evils of our souls and that Allaah makes love and nearness between us...
