Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan Advises with Boycotting 'Adnaan 'Ar'oor - The noble Scholar is asked about a series of principles that have been invented by 'Adnaan 'Ar'oor, as well as his defense of Sayyid Qutb (k.1966CE). Though his name is not mentioned in the beginning, the Shaykh recognizes the misguided principles and asks if these are the principles of 'Ar'oor. The Shaykh goes onto explain the circumstances under which 'Adnaan originally came to Saudi Arabia and lastly he advises the Salafee youth to boycott 'Adnaan and those who are like him. |

Shaykh Rabee' Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee Advises the Salafees Concerning 'Adnaan 'Ar'oor
The noble Scholar, Shaykh Rabee' Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee stated, "And I advise the Salafee youth in the world who have been deceived by 'Adnaan and his likes from the hizbiyyeen and the innovators to be upon the utmost caution from those ones and their fitnah (trial, tribulation) and their evils - not to mention that 'Adnaan is the one who dons the Salafee cloak for insidiousness and he wages war against its (i.e. Salafiyyah) people and its callers - with a war the likes of which has not been known from the staunchest of the people of innovation. I warn them against this man with the severest warning and I drive them away from him - by Allaah - out of love for them. And I want that they traverse the path of the Salaf. And they - by Allaah - are without need for 'Adnaan, because he does not come to them, except with false principles, idle talk and corrupt speech. So I warn them against him and his games and his lies and his deceptions, and they must realize that Islaam must not be taken from the likes of these ones. Indeed, the Scholars of the Salaf, such as Ibnul-Mubaarak (d.181H) and his likes used to say, "Indeed, this knowledge is Religion. So look to whom you take your Religion from." So the Religion must not be taken from the deceptive claimants, not from those who are clearly misguided, nor from other than them. The knowledge must only be taken from the people of knowledge who are trustworthy (thiqaat) and reliable ('udool), who make their allegiances and enmity for the sake of Allaah, those ostracize the falsehood and they call to the truth and to the straight guidance. It is upon them (i.e. the Salafees) to choose and to remain firm and to not rush. So they used to listen and read everybody and his brother, because in the beginning stages, many of them did not distinguish between the truth and falsehood. So they would read the likes of the one whom I have mentioned (i.e. 'Adnaan 'Ar'oor), so he was able to take them out of the manhaj of Allaah into their corrupt manaahij, so let them beware of his misguided statement, 'We read the books and we listen to the individuals. And we take whatever is truth and we reject whatever is falsehood.'" Taken from the treatise, Daf' Baghee 'Adnaan of Rabee' Ibn Haadee al-Madkhalee, as found on www.Rabee.net.
