Briefly:
Shiekh Obayd al Jabree a few days ago refuted one of these Hadadi-like individual by the name of Farouk al-Emarati. Sheikh Obayd mentioned that this individual spoke badly of Sheikh Muhammad ibn Salih al 'Uthaimeen rahimahullaah and Sheikh Rabee' and Sheikh Abdulmuhsin amongst a few.
Sheikh Obayd mentioned that there is the mistake that is rejected from whomsoever it comes from and there is the one who falls into this mistake from those upon the way of ahlu sunnah then they are advised and this will end with either acceptance or rejection. If the person rejects based upon pride and arrogance this is the one who is refuted and warned against.

Then yesterday the sheikh was asked that there are people talking about the advice of sheikh Rabee' to Sheikh Faalih. Sheikh Obayd said do not occupy yourselves with this for there are some who enter and do not understand it, rather both of these mashayakh have beneficial effort in the da'wah of spreading the sunnah and rather it is the mistake that is rejected.
Then the sheikh encouraged the questioner to benefit himself with learning the deen of Allaah to sit with the mashayakh and learn and occupy himself with ilm.

Following the fitnah of Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee, in the last year or so, after those who had become affected by that fitnah were slowly realising their errors and gradually leaving that falsehood, a new fitnah arose. This fitnah has taken a direction in opposition to that of at-Tamyee (which was championed by Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee and his collection of false principles aimed at accommodating the Innovators). This tashaddud and ghuluww is a new fitnah that has been imported by Ahl ul-Bidah into the ranks of Ahl us-Sunnah - (after the Scholars refuted the Mumayyiah and their false manhaj of Tamyee) - in order to spread further discord amongst the Salafiyyeen, to make certain scholars to fall, and to cut off the ties of Ahl us-Sunnah with the Scholars, as has been explained by Shaykh Rabee. Whereas Tamyee was used to accommodate Ahl ul-Bidah in the name of justice and moderation, this fitnah of tashaddud and ghuluww is being used in the name of being very staunch upon the Salafee manhaj, with the aim of dropping the Scholars and causing further rifts amongst the Salafees, (after those already caused by Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee).
Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee has stated that this phenomenon has come from the direction of certain people, some of whom used to be with al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimoon, in that those who are upon this manner, have been planted amongst the Salafiyyeen to cause splits in their ranks, and he has no doubt that they are liars, who have been with al-Ikhwaan for eight or ten years and then all of a sudden they have become the staunchest of Salafees in such a short time, with such great gheerah for the Salafee manhaj! Whereas in reality they have been planted in order to destroy the unity of Ahl us-Sunnah, and because the history of some of these people are known, the Shaykh said that it makes him doubt them a thousand times over, and that there is no doubt they are planted.
Shaykh Rabee has stated that this new band is to be put alongside al-Ikhwaan al-Muslimeen, and with Abul-Hasan al-Ma'ribee, and al-Maghraawee and their likes, because they share with these people in fighting against Ahl us-Sunnah, and making their Shaykhs to fall, and the Shaykh said that these people are spread in the Emirates and in Algeria and in other places, and that their goal is a single goal - which is to confuse Ahl us-Sunnah and make the Scholars to fall.
This new band have made certain claims against the likes of Shaykh Rabee, and Shaykh Ubayd and Shaykh Muhammad bin Haadee, other Mashaayikh, and certain well-known students of knowledge in the Arab lands, that these Mashaayikh and students of knowledge are upon tamyee and that some of them have hizbiyyah, and in some instances what is more blameworthy than that, without furnishing any proof or evidence. And similarly they hold certain matters regarding others from the people of knowledge who are senior to those already mentioned, such as evil revilements upon Shaykh Ibn al-Uthaymeen, upon his knowledge and his books and upon his usool in the affairs of the deen.
Inshaa'Allaah, the statements of the Scholars in clarification of these affairs (including the statements from which the above facts have been taken), will be translated and presented on this forum in due course.
Alhamdulillaah, we have been in touch with Shaykh Rabee via phone over the past week, as well as Shaykh Ubayd and other Mashaayikh. Shaykh Rabee is pleased that the Salafees in Britain have taken efforts to bring about unity, and we pray that the affairs remain united between the Salafees in every place and that all the causes and reasons for difference and splitting are removed by Allaah's permission. |
