As-salamu alaykum!
On www.rabee.co.uk there is PDF document titled: "The methodology of the Prophets in calling to Allaah: Part 5" In this document is a sentence, that is written in a manner that I do not quite understand. It is located on page 15, paragraph 1, lines 5-7 and it writes:

"So from the results of this war, and from the results of this clear declaration was that Allaah guided many of the Arabs from the Quraysh and from other tribes, and from Aws and the Khazraj."

I do not understand what was meant by the author when he mentions the Aws and the Khazraj separately. Options that come to my mind:
1. The way it is written reads to me as if they were not tribes, as I understand Arabs from other tribes and Arabs from Aws and the Khazraj, if this is the case I do not understand what they were.
2. Is it possible that the word many was omitted before "from Aws" meaning that the Aws and the Khazraj were not Arabs?
3. Or is something else meant?
Any information would be welcome.
Thank you.
As-salamu alaykum!
