al-Hamdu-Lillaahi Rabbil-'Aalameen was-Salaatu was-Salaamu 'alaa Ashrafil-Anbiyaa'e wal-Mursaleen, wa ba'd:

as-Salaamu alaikum wa rahmatullaahi wa barakatuh,

I am aware of some of the recent problems have that have occurred in regards to Shaykh Abdul-Maalik ar-Ramadanee al-Jazaa'iree, yet I have to say I have been interested in reading the book of Shaykh Abdul-Maalik entitled, Madarik un-Nadhr.  As I may have mentioned previously, I am working towards a master's in history here in the States.  As part of this, I am attempting to put together a master's thesis on the works of some of our Salaf (actually only two).  Yet as I proceed with my studies, I get somewhat sidetracked by issues of that past which arise in the present day.  One of those issues has led me to a reference to the book of Shaykh Abdul-Maalik.

Does anyone know of the book and how to obtain a copy?  If there are still serious concerns with the Shaykh, do my brothers have problems recommending the book?  If I recall, it functions as a refutation of Safar and Salman, and does not concern some of the issues that have arisen of late.  And please, barak'Allaah feekum, continue providing me with links and references to the works of Shaykh-ul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah (rahimullaah) and/or explanations of those works and the works of his students.  My studies right now are somewhat concentrated so I have rather limited abilities for study beyond these few subjects.

Jazak'Allaah khayran ikhwaan,
Umar at-Taalib al-Amriki
