I want to ask, does this mean that it is bad for someone who has memorized a portion of al Usooluth Thalaathah to learn the Sharh for the part that he memorized? |
|
No - interestingly enough, in his taped lessons of al-Usool ath-Thalaatha, Shaykh al-Fawzaan himself advised the attendees to memorize the part to be studied before coming to the lessons, i.e. so before each dars, the student should come having memorized what is likely to be explained in that dars. ------------------------------------------ Abu 'Abdil-'Azeez al-Misree أبو عبد العزيز المصري

Sharh ul-Usool uth-Thalaatha by Imaam Muhammad Amaan Bin 'Alee al-Jaamee: http://www.sahab.net/sahab/showthread.php?s=&threadid=297875 This is taken from the ten-tape sharh done in Madeenah, not the two-tape commentary he did in Dammaam. It has been compiled into a very well-done, cleanly-formatted Word document. |
