Asalamu aleykum I need some naseehah from a brother o knowledge or can someone ask a shaykh for me please. I need to know what is the best way of teaching my family- parents and siblings about Salafiyyah? They are muslim but not practising and oppose most things I do- e.g. the way I pray, cover, dont take part activities such as TV, movies, parties etc. How can I get them to tolerate my actions and then how do I teach them? Where do I start? The problem is changing the familys understanding of islam when it has been ingrained in them a certain way, so how do I correct it? I would appreciate some advice and practical ideas to set the ball rolling please. Also what to do if that doesnt work?
