الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله وعلى آله وصحبه ومن اتبع هداه أما بعد
the allaamah, shaikh zaid bin haadi al-madkhali will be present after maghrib, on tuesday, at shaikh ali al-haddaadi's masjid, uraijah - west riyadh [near shaikh muhammad al-fayfee's masjid].
inshallaah, there will be another gathering for advice and questions afterwards.

the shaikh has informed us that the title of the talk will be 'makhraj min al-fitan' which roughly means 'the ways out of trials and tribulations'
the area is not uraijah. it is in tuwayq.

It was good to see the shaikh in good health and the presence of the shaikhs, Muhammad al-fayfee and sultaan al-eid, as well as the host shaikh alee al-hadaadee.
The shaikh mentioned that the way to save yourself from the tribulations of doubts and desires is by adhering to the quraan and the sunnah. Then he mentioned what is meant by adhering.
Then he talked about the hadeeth where some people are given understanding of the deen and how we see many on the path of knowledge yet they stumble and fall as they do not have proper understanding and implementation of the true knowledge.
Regarding those who are given this good blessing then they are of different levels, with the scholars having the highest rank and honour with Allaah.
Then at the end he mentioned some books which to start with, like the books of Imaam Muhammad bin abd al-wahaab; the 3 usool, the four principles, removing the doubts, the fundamentals of eemaan, the merits of islaam, and the books of ibn tamiyyah like; wasitiyyah, hamuwiyah, and the aqeedah tahawiyah. For the sunnah, study the six books and the tafseer as-sa?dee and ibn katheer with the summary of ar-rafaa?ee [which is the best from those done] and ibn jareer.
The shaikh said, first choose a teacher with care then the book to be studied with him.
After isha we left the masjid for a rest house where the shaikh gave some advice and then we had some dinner out in the open. The shaikh and alee al-hadaadee are both now in jizaan for the summer course. Shaikh alee has his first book coming out soon, inshallaah, with an intro by shaikh saalih al-fawzaan titled ?40 hadeeth on salafiyyah? if it doesn?t come out soon I will post a list of the ahaadeeth which he used.
