This book will be a great benefit for all, Inshallah.  In it the Shaykh explains the well-known Hadith of Jibril, which not only lays down the foundations of Islam but also the obligations of the Sunnah.  Ibn Daqeeq al-Id (d.701H) said in describing this Hadith, "So it is like a mother for the Sunnah.  Just as al-Fatihah is the mother of the Qur'an, because it comprehensively gathers together the meanings of the Qur'an."  This tremendous statement and many others from the Salaf can be found throughout this robust book. It is complied in an eloquent manner beginning with the text of the Hadith and followed by an explanation of each line.  Shaykh 'Abdul-Muhsin extracts many benefits from the Hadith in order to teach the reader the basics of Islam, Emaan, and Ihsan.  Overall, the book is very enlightening and should be pondered over with sincerity.  May Allah make it easy on us and increase each one of us in knowledge of this beautiful Deen, ameen.
