for every single grammar rule you learn, get a shaahid/example (or many shawaahid) for it from the qur'aan or the sunnah or arabic poetry to help you remember it.
for example if you learn that "INNA" before a noun makes the noun mansoob, list a few examples and highlight the reference points from them:

build your own notebook with your own examples in consultation with your qualified arabic teacher. this helps keep the rules practical and related to the religious texts. it may also increase your memorization of the texts if you set out to find examples and record them, and then memorize them.
