On the authority of Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما who said: The Messenger صلى الله عليه و سلم took me by the shoulder and said:
"Be in this world as though you are a stranger (or a wayfarer)".

Ibn 'Umar رضي الله عنهما used to say: At the evening do not expect [to live till] the morning, and at morning do not expect [to live till] evening. Take from your health for your illness and from your life for your death.
