As salaamu 'alaikum
I would like help on a situation that may occur to many of us in the ghettos of the U.S. This is the people, whether they say they are muslims down and out or the kuffaar, who stop one in the street and ask for money.
What should we do, as some you see on a daily basis and know they are upon drugs and the like, and some you see for the first time? How should we conduct ourselves?
I, myself, if near a restaurant and the like , offer to buy them food, but some do not claim hunger but claim other stuff from needing to get home and things like that.
What should the muslim do?
**If others have been caught in these situations and notice I should have added some more things please add to the question.
