assalamu alaikum wa rahmattullah, Is anyone familiar with a hadeeth that referenes a mother carrying a child from six to nine months, or an ayah in the Qur'an that speaks of the child being 'nurtured' or carried for thirty months (i.e suckling for 24 months and six months in the womb)? wa assalam

31:14 breastfeeding=2yrs
46:15 pregnancy+breastfeeding=30 months
2:233 2yrs of breastfeeding is not waajib
The pregnancy is thus 6 months, and the scholars understand this to be the earliest point at which a child can be born and live, and Allaah knows best.
