In the Name of ALLAH The Most Merciful The Most Gracious
All Praises belong to ALLAH peace and blessing upon the Messenger Muhammad and his companions and his wives.

About a week ago a brother visited our masjid from out of town, and began telling brothers that the situation with Sheik Usama Al Qoose had been rectified, and that we can now take knowledge from him. Since this brother has command over the Arabic language, a few brothers deemed him as truthworthy. And Unfortunately, this kalaam begin to spread in our community. And it seems that some of our beloved brothers are not clear on this issue. May ALLAH guide me, them, and you.
Today, January 4th, 2003, I called the noble Scholar Sheik Faalih Al Harbee and asked him the following question.
Q: Shiek, some brothers in our community want to travel to Egypt, and they want to take knowledge from Sheik Usama Al Qoose. So do you advise them with this or not?
A: No, I don't advise them with this. Usama Al Qoose is not a Sheik. And he is a person who is astray (daal), and deviant(munharifa) now. He is not on the minhaj on Ahuls Sunnah. (repeats)He is not on the minhaj of Ahlus Sunnah. And knowledge is not to be taken from him. Knowledge is not to be taken from him because he is not from the people of knowledge. And now he slanders Ahlus Sunnah, and he slanders their Scholars.
End of Sheik's kalaam

This conversation was recorded, and a copy can be provided to any organization that wants one.

I swear by ALLAH that the above is true.

Bismillah alhumdulillah was salaatu was salaamu 'ala rasulullah wa ba'ad...

Assallaamu alaikum warahmatullah

Allahu akbar....and with Allah lies all success.  And may Allah make us of those who love and hate for His sake alone.  May Allah preserve the Sh. Faalih al-Harbee (hafidhahullah) and increase him in his knowledge.  Ameen.

Shiekh al Banna hafidahullaah also was not happy with Usaama Qoosi's defence of Abul Hasan and his statement in last Hajj about Maghrawee. Usaama Qoosi said "Maghrawee whom there is difference over" in the hajj asalah camp last year. What difference? After Maghraweee was refuted by many of the scholars of ahlu sunnah.

At this time it is better to stick with the elders in these times of fitn. The elders. Those who are firm upon this blessed methodology as our sheikh advises us with. From those shiekh al Banna tells us to take our knowledge and stick to is Sheikh Rabee' for he loves him much due to his firmness upon the manhaj.

Sheikh al Banna is very careful not to give the misguided groups and its heads any chance to infiltrate this da'wah. Infact in his own masjid he doesn't allow any fliers except from salafi du'aat. No speakers to come into his masjid to lecture unless he is known salafi and he doesn't give anyone tazkiyaa unless he knows you for some time.

The sheikh recently said this weekend (Thursday 2nd Jan 2003 before salatul ishaa in the haram) not to cooperate with those at Luton like Abdulqaadir for they are staunch blindfollwers of Abul Hasan. And that the daleel (proof) is with the scholars like sheikh Rabee', and the rest of the 21 scholars from Yemen, Makkah, Madinah, Jizan etc.

And as sheikh Rabee' said once that One of them is sufficicient.
