Aali Imran (3):145 وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَنْ تَمُوتَ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِ الله كِتَابًا مُّؤَجَّلاً وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ الآخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِ مِنْهَا وَسَنَجْزِي الشَّاكِرِينَ And no person can ever die except by Allâh's Leave and at an appointed term. And whoever desires a reward in (this) world, We shall give him of it; and whoever desires a reward in the Hereafter, We shall give him thereof. And We shall reward the grateful.

Steve Badalamente was driving away from his son's home following a visit Tuesday afternoon when his car lurched forward, crossed a lawn and plowed over a small fence before dropping into 2 1/2 feet of water in the Kennewick Irrigation District canal. The driver's side of the car was submerged and the windshield was smashed. Badalamente was bleeding from the head and did not know where he was or how he got there.
