wa alaikum salaam

Try the book "Weeping from the Fear of Allah" by Husain al Awaiyshah.
It may help you get out of the dry eye syndrome that so many of suffer from. Allahu a'lam

As-Salaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuhu,

I recommend the book of heart rendering traditions found in saheeh al-Bukhaaree and also the Book of the Signs of the end of times. These ahadeeth incite fear and encourage righteous actions. Alee Bin Abee Taalib [radhia Allaahu Anhu] narrated an Athaar concerning the reality of the affairs of this life and the akheerah when he said, "The dunya is receeding [going backwards] and the life of this world is going forward [swiftly] and both of them have children, be [oh muslims] children of the Akheerah and do not be children of this dunyaa for verily today, there are actions with no account but tommorrow there is account with no actions."
