The lecture is based around the section about raising Muslim children found in the work of Umm 'Abdillaah al-Waadi'iyyah, the daughter of Imaam Muqbil Ibn Haadee al-Waadi'ee. It covers many vital topics as the responsibility of the parents towards their children, especially in their earliest stages of development. Then the lecture goes on to cover twenty one different ways to bring up one's children upon the proper Islaamic tarbiyah (education).

Does anyone have any information about this sister Umm 'Abdillaah al-Waadi?iyyah? Does anyone know of her works and with reference to this specfic topic. Are any of her works available in english text and or lectures on audio (specifically this lecture)?
Inshallah it would help sisters teaching their children at home and for us other sisters in general.

Who is Umm ?Abdillaah al-Waadi?iyyah?
Stated al-?Allaamah Muqbil Ibn Haadee al-Waadi?ee ? rahimahullaah ? concerning his daughter ? Umm ?Abdillaah al-Waadi?iyyah, ?She has benefited (mustafeedah) and is a strong researcher. She has writings, from them: Naseehatee lin-Nisaa? [published], al-Jaami?us-Saheeh fil-?Ilm wa Fadlihi [to be published] and al-Jaami?us-Saheeh fish-Shamaa?ilil-Muhammadiyyah [published]. Indeed, many of her sisters for the sake of Allaah have benefited from her. So she has taught them, at-Tawheed, Sifatus-Salaatin-Nabee of al-Albaanee, at-Tuhfatus-Sanniyyah and al-Baa?ithul-Hatheeth. Indeed, they have benefited and some from amongst them have become benefited researchers of the books of Sunnah. May Allaah grant us and them steadfastness upon the truth. The brothers from TROID had been doing a lecture series on Umm Abdulilaah's work "Advice to the Women". This was translated by the brother Hasan as Sumaalee on PalTalk. I believe those audios are available now in a set from TROID. You can contact them inshaa'Allaah to purchase those tapes or cd's.
