I'm a history teacher in an islamic school in Europe. I always prefer to wear a thobe (long garment just like the ones worn in saudi arabia). Most of the people working in this school are not salafi. They say that wearing such clothes is something that does not fit for us in these times in Europe. They say it's something they worn a long time ago and we need to adapt to what the people wear in Europe.
So what should men wear? Some even say it is obligated to wear the long garment (thobe) Any words of advise on this matter?
