A Muslim mans wife is in a country and he is in another country working and waiting for her to get a visa to come and be with him. When she gets the visa, he cannot afford to travel to the country in which she is staying in order to escort her to the country where he is staying. However, he can afford to send her a plane ticket in order for her to travel alone. Is it permissible for her to travel alone in this case or must she wait until her husband can afford to travel with her? Can someone please present any info available on this issue baarakallahu feekum?
