As selam aleykum.

My Question is the following:
I heard from a Talib ul-Ilm, that when it´s raining, than there are Hadith, that the Muazzin instead of "Haya la salah" should he say "Sallu fi buyutikum" (Pray in your homes). And that this Hadith are Sahih. Even when it´s Salatu Jumuah the Muezzin should say "Sallu fi buyutikum". So that the Muslims pray at Home. And I accepted, even it is the first time that I heard about something like this.
My Question is now, if I go to work, by bus or car or on foot, and it´s raining. So than the time for the Salatu-Jumuah is coming, and it is still raining, should I stay at work and pray only the Salatu-Zuhr, or should I go to the Salatu-Jumuah, because I left my home for work anyway ?
The Problem by this is, when I take a job in Darul-Kufr, and tell the employer that I have to pray five times a day, and that I have to go every Friday to the Mescid for Prayer, and than when it is raining and I don´t go to the Salatu-Jumuah, the employer will ask me why I´m told him that I have to go every Friday to Mescid, and now I don´t go! So I think that the employer will be confused.
What should I and every Salafi Brother in this situation do ?
Barakallahu fiqhum

Wa Alaikumus Salaam wa Rahmatullaah

Yaa Ahki, can you please tell us the name of the person who told you this hadeeth and stated that it was saheeh?  I personally can not confirm or deny the authenticity of this hadeeth, however it should be known who we are taking our knowledge from insha'Allaah.

Barak Allaahu Feek

Al-Haafidh Ibn Hajr says in An-Nukhbah (pg 135): ?The narration of the anonymous (mubham) is not accepted if he is not named; because the condition of the acceptance of a report is the trustworthiness of the narrator, and whoevers? name is left anonymous his identity is not known, so how could this be trustworthiness?!

quote:

As-Suyutee mentioned in Tadreeb Ar-Raawee (1/365): ?If he says a trustworthy person narrated to me, or like this, it is not sufficient for Ta?deel (attestation of trustworthiness) until he identifies him, because even if he is trustworthy with him perhaps if he named him he would be from those that others had mentioned with dispraise, rather his avoiding identifying him is something that places suspicion in the heart.?

Assalaamu 'alaikum,

none of the ahadeeth mention salatul jumu'a--I noticed.

Bismillaah Al-Hamdulillaah

Na'am, there is no mention of salatul Jumu'ah in these ahadeeth. Perhaps the brother mistook the word Jumu'ah for salatul Jumu'ah. Allaah knows best.

Either way, there was much benefit in these ahadeeth - Al-Hamdulillaah - and the comments about them by Imam al-Qurtubee (d.671 H), rahimahullaah, included in this article below on the same topic:

The Adhaan for Rain and Cold Weather

Subhanak Allaahuma wa bihamdika ash-hadu anlaa illaaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa atubu ilayk

If I said anything correct, then it is from Allaah (subhanahu wa taa'ala), and if I erred, then that is from me and shaytan.
