Insha'Allah if someone with daleel can answer this.
If an Imam remembers during Salat that he forgot to make ghusl and he is sexually impure and even though he remembers during the salat that he is not pure he continues to lead the salat out of embarrassment, what is obligated on the people praying behind him? The people had found out that he was sexually impure so now they are wondering if their salats are accepted or if they have to make it up..

بسم الله الرحمان الرحيم
Shaikh Muhammad ibn Saalih al-Uthaymeen رحمه الله was asked the same question that if the Imam prays without wudoo then what are the followers to do after they know? he answered by saying that their salaah is correct and they do not repeat the salaah except for the Imaam.

من صلى إماما بغير وضوء وذكر أثناء الصلاة
من عبد العزيز بن عبد الله بن باز إلى حضرة الأخ المكرم س . ع . م سلمه الله .
سلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته . . وبعد :
فأشير إلى استفتائك المقيد في إدارة البحوث العلمية برقم ( 2954 ) في 16 / 9 / 1406 هـ والذي تسأل فيه عن إمام مسجد لم يكن على وضوء عندما صلى ولكنه لم يعلم إلا بعد الركعة الثانية من الصلاة ، ولكنه أتم الصلاة ، فلما انقضت الصلاة قام وتوضأ ، ما الحكم بالنسبة لصلاة المأمومين هل هي صحيحة أم يعيدون صلاتهم ، وإن ظهر منه صوت وهو في الصلاة وسمعه بعض المأمومين وبعد نهاية الصلاة قام الإمام وتوضا ما الحكم في صلاة المأمومين بذلك؟
ج : أفيدك بأنه إذا تذكر الإمام في أثناء الصلاة أنه على غير وضوء حرم عليه الاستمرار في الصلاة ، وإذا استمر حتى انقضاء الصلاة ولم يعلم المأمومون بذلك فإن صلاتهم صحيحة ، أما صلاته هو فهي باطلة؛ لقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم : يصلون لكم فإن أحسنوا فلكم ولهم وإن أساءوا فلكم وعليهم أما إذا علم المأمومون بانتقاض وضوء الإمام وتابعوه في الصلاة ، فإن صلاة من علم منهم انتقاض وضوء الإمام واستمر في متابعته باطلة وعليهم إعادتها .
وفق الله الجميع لما فيه رضاه والسلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته .

Q: What I want to ask about, is the Imaam of a Masjid who prays without wudu, but he does not know that he does not have wudu until after the second rakat; but he completes his prayer anyway. After he finishes leading the prayer, he stands and makes wudu. What is the ruling on the prayer of those that followed him? Is their prayer correct or should they repeat it? And if he passes wind(and it is audible) and some of those who are following him in prayer hear him, then after the prayer he stands and makes wudu then what is the ruling on the prayer of those that followed him?
A: If the Imaam knows that he is not in wudu during the prayer then it is haram for him to continue prayer. If he completes the prayer and the people follwing him don't know that he is not in wudu then there prayer is correct. As for his prayer, then it is null and void. According to the statement of the Messenger of ALLAH, peace and blessing be upon him, they pray for you(leading you in prayer) so if it is good, then it is for you and it is for them, and if is incorrect, then it is for you and against them. But if those following the Imaam know that he is not in wudu but they continue to follow him, then the prayer for those who know that the Imaam is not in wudu in null and void and they must repeat the prayer.
