wa 'alaykumus-salaamu wa rahmatullaahi wa barakaatuh...

Shaykh Rabee' mentioned that he has two conditions for a person to translate something:

1) He is mutamakkin (firmly capable) in both languages;

2) He is mutamakkin in the subject matter itself.

Furthermore, the translator should be Salafee as the shaykh had stated on other occasions.


Also, after consulting further with Shaykh Muhammad Baazmool about a lot of the details of translating from language to language, we came up with the following policy for those who wish to translate from bakkah.net material:
